About Becky

After graduating from Medcenter One College of Nursing, she began her career in medicine as a nurse at the Wishek Community Hospital. She went on to become a Family Nurse Practitioner through the University of Mary, starting at Linton Regional Medical Center in 2015. For the last few years, she has been working for CHI St. Alexius Medical Center in Urgent Care and Family Medicine. We are excited to have her back on our team!
When she is not providing medical care, Becky likes to spend time traveling as well as riding motorcycle and skiing.

What Is a Medical Coder? Medical coders update patient records with standardized information needed for data management and billing purposes. Every time a doctor, nurse, or other healthcare provider performs a service, a code needs to be assigned to each diagnosis and procedure. The specific codes assigned determine how the medical office bills the insurance company for the patient’s visit.

Linton Regional Medical Center does not have a physician on the premises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When a physician is not present, patients with healthcare emergencies will be assessed and treated by qualified medical personnel, with physician support available via phone and/or will be transferred to another hospital when necessary.
