Linton Regional Medical Center does not have a physician on the premises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When a physician is not present, patients with healthcare emergencies will be assessed and treated by qualified medical personnel, with physician support available via phone and/or will be transferred to another hospital when necessary.
The Emmons County ALS Ambulance was established in 1971. The ambulance service is licensed as an Advanced Life Support (ALS). With patient care being a top priority, the Emmons County ALS Ambulance has ensured that there is a paramedic available around the clock. The Emmons County ALS Ambulance services one of the largest ambulance districts in North Dakota.
