Linton Regional Medical Center does not have a physician on the premises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When a physician is not present, patients with healthcare emergencies will be assessed and treated by qualified medical personnel, with physician support available via phone and/or will be transferred to another hospital when necessary.
The Linton Regional Medical Center is a not-for-profit organization. The Board of Directors are volunteers who serve three-year terms. This dedicated group of community leaders are tasked with various responsibilities, such as hiring and retaining the CEO, ensuring quality of care, developing the mission, vision, and strategic plan, overseeing the financial position, as well as developing strong relationships with the community and medical staff.
