Emmons County Ambulance Service

The Emmons County ALS Ambulance service is based in Linton, North Dakota. Our response area is 1500 square miles with an approximate population of 4500 people. We serve the cities of ​Braddock, Hague, Hazelton, Hull, Linton, Strasburg, and Westfield.  Emmons County ALS Ambulance was established in 1971. We provide a minimum of one Paramedic and one EMT on every ambulance run.  We are a licensed Advanced Life Support Ambulance Service with the State of North Dakota and the State Of South Dakota..

We provide:
– Advanced airway management.
– 15 Lead EKG with data transmission capabilities to hospitals via LIFEnet.
– Rapid Sequence Intubation.
– Adult/child intraosseous.
– Sternal IO capabilities.
– Retro-grade intubation.
– End Tidal CO2 monitoring.
– Induced Hypothermic Care for post cardiac arrest patients.
– Video laryngoscopy
– Lucas CPR device
– Carbon Monoxide detection
– Nitronox Administration

We also provide a wide range of training opportunities.
