Linton Regional Medical Center does not have a physician on the premises 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When a physician is not present, patients with healthcare emergencies will be assessed and treated by qualified medical personnel, with physician support available via phone and/or will be transferred to another hospital when necessary.

Linton Regional Medical Center has been designated as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital in the nation by the National Rural Health Association for five consecutive years – 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. LRMC is also a Level V trauma center and an American Heart Association-certified Acute Stroke Ready Hospital.
